This site provides documentation for the Rutgers University enterprise directory service. This service uses the LDAP standard and protocol to support authentication and provide directory information to units throughout the University.
Examples of typical usage include:
- verifying user NetIDs/passwords
- verifying users membership in the Rutgers community
- retrieving an employee's contact information
- confirming a student's course registration
- accessing the email directory (some mail clients).
